Kate Carlisle es una escritora estadounidense. Nació en Los Ángeles.

Desde pequeña inventaba historias. Después de una juventud un tanto alocada, se matriculó en la universidad, en Derecho, volvió a escribir historias. Dejó Derecho y comenzó Escritura creativa.

Sus libros ya tenían más consistencia, se relacionó con otros autores, empezó a tener éxito. Ya tenía encauzada su carrera como escritora.
