Alan Bradley es un escritor canadiense. Nació en 1938 en Toronto.
Lector desde muy joven, aunque mal estudiante, trabajó durante muchos años en televisión, hasta que decidió jubilarse anticipadamente y dedicarse a la literatura.
Comenzó publicando cuentos, escribiendo guiones, hasta que creó a Flavia de Luce, una niña de 11 años, un tanto extraña, que se dedica a investigar delitos.
