
Edmée Elizabeth Monica Dashwood, conocida como E.M. Delafield, fue una escritora británica. Nació en Sussex, el 9 de junio de 1880 y falleció en Devon, el 2 de diciembre de 1943.
Después de terminar el colegio, decidió ingresar en un convento, pero lo abandonó poco después.
Trabajó como enfermera en la Primera Guerra Mundial, al tiempo que comenzaba a publicar sus primeros escritos. Continuó publicando una o dos novelas al año durante toda su vida.
