Dorothy Emily Stevenson (Edimburgo, 18 de noviembre de 1892-Dumfriesshire, 30 de diciembre de 1973) fue una escritora británica que firmaba como D. E. Stevenson.
Estudió en casa y escribía, desde muy pequeña, a escondidas. No la dejaron realizar estudios universitarios.
Publicó un gran número de obras a lo largo de su vida, con notable éxito y traducidas a bastantes idiomas.
